This program is meant to support youth, junior, university, and senior athletes competing at their first Nationals to assist in offsetting the cost.

How many scholarships is your WSO offering? 
Up to 12 California South WSO athletes will be selected each year (maximum of 3 per category). 

Each scholarship covers:
The early registration or regular registration fee, whichever registration fee was purchased, excluding the late registration fee (e.g., $145 for early or $175 for regular).

Timeline
The submission form to be eligible for this will be released a minimum of one month prior to the close of regular registration for the respective nationals meet, closes on the end of regular registration, and awardees will be announced one week following the close of regular registration. 

Eligibility & Selection Criteria
The only meets this applies to are Youth National Championships, Junior National Championships, National University Championships, and Senior National Championships. The committee will not retroactively provide a discount. 

This reimbursement is only valid for an athlete's first national meet.
